Foreword
The aim of this training course is to enable you to deploy a UCOPIA controller as part of a simple infrastructure and to use its basic functions.
The FOUNDATION target certification is one of the 2 certifications required to obtain BRONZE status in the Ucopia Partner programme.
Target audience:
This course is aimed primarily at IT professionals, and more specifically those in charge of deploying authentication products.
Teaching methods:
The training takes place remotely, via an online meeting tool.
Trainees receive a link to download the digital course material (PDF format).
The course material consists of the lecture, the practical work (Labs) and their corrections.
In order to be able to put the elements of the course into practice, trainees have a complete virtual technical environment at their disposal on our eLearning platform (Windows VM, virtual UCOPIA controller).
Training objectives:
At the end of the course, trainees will have acquired the following skills:
– Install and carry out basic configuration of the controller
– Create and customise captive portals
– Manage users and access rights (via the administration or delegation interface)
– Use UWS (Administration & Wizard)

This course is given remotely over a period of 1 day (7 hours training).

Prerequisites and equipment:
The course is given in French, and the course materials are also in French.
Participants should have a good knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, OSI model, switching, 802.1q and routing).
Participants will need a computer and an Internet connection to access our eLearning environment, and suitable audio equipment (e.g. telephone with microphone/earphones, or microphone/headset on the PC) to participate in the online meeting.
Certification exam:
UCOPIA FOUNDATION certification consists of an online exam (35 minutes, 30 multiple-choice questions) accessible at the end of the session.
The minimum certification score is 70% correct answers.)
Certification is valid for 2 years.
