This course provides an in-depth discussion of the advanced features of Extreme Networks’ Fabric Connect for integrating SPBM with other protocols and solution requirements. You will learn how to extend campus configurations by implementing Fabric Extend, including Fabric over SD-WAN. You will see how Distributed Virtual Routing (DvR) is used to optimize routing within the Fabric. The redistribution of routes from external protocols to IS-IS will be covered with route policies. Lessons are supported by hands-on configuration using Universal Hardware 5520, 5320, and EXOS.
Target Audience
This course is designed for network administrators, support engineers, and integrators responsible for the architecture and management of Extreme Networks Fabric Connect switches and devices.
Prerequisites
This training builds on the knowledge acquired in the “Extreme Fabric – Installation and Configuration” course. To qualify for this training certificate, you must first obtain the certificate from the previous course. Participants should have a solid understanding of SPBM concepts and general switch management.
