Students will learn methods to prepare their switching and routing environment for management using ExtremeCloud IQ, ExtremeCloud IQ – Site Engine, or suitable third-party management solutions. Various network management tasks will be practiced, reinforced with hands-on experience in a lab environment where students will perform real-world tasks.
Target Audience
This course is designed for individuals responsible for managing the Extreme Networks family of ExtremeXOS/SwitchEngine switches.
Prerequisites
This training builds on the knowledge from the “Extreme Switching – Installation and Configuration” course. To earn the certificate for this training, participants must have completed the previous course. A solid understanding of LAN concepts, including switching and routing, advanced Ethernet concepts, and an introductory TCP/IP course, is required.
