Course Overview
You will learn to configure the ExtremeControl Portal to include Portal Administration, Guest Registration, and Authenticated Registration. You will also be introduced to ExtremeControl Workflows built into ExtremeCloud IQ – Site Engine and well as ExtremeControl Notifications for automations. ExtremeControl integration with Extreme Connect and introduction to ExtremeControl APIs is also examined. Students will have these concepts reinforced with hands-on lab experience managing ExtremeControl in a preconfigured network.
Target Audience
This course is designed for individuals who need automation and notifications for network access control and/or are responsible for managing the ExtremeControl Portal.
Prerequisites
This training builds on the knowledge acquired in the “ExtremeControl – Installation and Configuration” course. To be eligible for the certificate of this training, you must first have obtained the certificate from the preceding course. Students should have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, general network management concepts, as well as network security concepts and technologies.
