Course Overview
Students will learn how to properly manage their ExtremeControl engine. They will also delve into the ExtremeControl rules engine and learn how to manipulate network endpoints with authorization. Additionally, the components and structure of Extreme Policy will be examined, along with its integration with ExtremeControl. For students without Extreme Policy-compatible devices, ExtremeControl policy links will be explored to maximize the capabilities of ExtremeControl in a multi-vendor network. The integration of ExtremeControl with ExtremeAnalytics and ExtremeCloud IQ will also be demonstrated. Students will reinforce these concepts with hands-on lab experience managing ExtremeControl in a preconfigured network.

This course is designed for individuals responsible for managing ExtremeControl engines and network endpoints.
Prerequisites
This training builds on the knowledge gained in the « ExtremeControl – Installation and Configuration » course. To be eligible for this certification, you must first have completed the previous course. Students should have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, general network management concepts, and network security concepts and technologies.
